OVERVIEW


Battleship is a strategic game wherein two players compete against each other to sink the opponent's fleet of ships. The objective is to carefully place your own ships on a hidden grid and utilize strategic thinking and memory to determine the location of the enemy's vessels. The first player to successfully sink all of the enemy's ships emerges as the victor. This classic game is a blend of logic, strategy, and luck.


RULES


  • Setup: Arrange your fleet of ships either vertically or horizontally on your concealed grid. Note that ships cannot overlap or be placed diagonally.


  • Gameplay: Take turns announcing grid coordinates (e.g., C4) to guess the positions of the enemy ships.


  • Hits and Misses: Keep track of successful hits and failed attempts on your tracking grid. A hit indicates a section of an opponent's ship has been exposed, while a miss signifies no ship is present in that area.


  • Victory: Continue playing until all the ships of one player have been sunk. The player who successfully sinks the entire enemy fleet first will be declared the winner.
